Who You Are in Your Mask – Celebrating Our Students’ Creativity

We’re incredibly proud of our students who took part in the “Who You Are in Your Mask” project with local community artist Jonathan Reynolds.

Supported by Arts Council England, this creative residency encouraged young people to express their identities and emotions through the design of personalised masks.

Their powerful artwork was showcased in an exhibition  and we’re delighted to share that some of their pieces are now in print!

Jonathan, who uses his art to explore and communicate his experiences of learning disability and mental health, has been developing his work as a community artist over the past three years. He’s passionate about helping others unlock their creativity and promoting a positive understanding of disability and mental health through art.

Building on the success of this project, Jonathan hopes to collaborate with SEND schools across Northamptonshire on future visual arts projects, inspiring more young people to discover the power of creativity and self-expression.

A huge well done to all our talented students, your work has truly inspired our community!
