We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news—Wren Spinney is the first SEND school to achieve the Healthy Schools Gold Award!

The Healthy Schools scheme, is a national mental health project that rates schools on how well they are promoting wellbeing, healthy eating and physical activity among pupils.

It was a real pleasure to be presented with the award alongside Cllr Elizabeth Wright.

A special shout-out goes to Toby, whose hard work and commitment have guided us on an incredible journey from Bronze, to Silver, and now Gold. This achievement truly reflects a whole-school effort and is something we are all extremely proud of.

Our project focused on staff wellbeing, showing how supporting our team has a positive impact on the whole school community and, most importantly, on our pupils.
