16-19 Bursary Fund
The 16–19 Bursary Fund is designed to ensure that every young person can access and benefit from education during their post-16 studies.
It provides financial support to students who are part of defined vulnerable groups or who face significant financial hardship.
Bursary payments are specifically intended to help cover costs related to participation in education—such as transport, books, equipment, educational visits, and university or college interviews. Support is tailored to individual students based on their needs.

We also retain a contingency fund to support students whose financial circumstances may change during the academic year.
The school carefully manages the number and size of discretionary bursaries to ensure that the available budget is used effectively and fairly.
