I am a mum and Grandma, and I am a Neonatal Matron, involved in the development of the neonatal service at Kettering General Hospital. I was Partnership Governors at Millbrook Junior school (link from Christ the King Church) for many years, moving on a couple of years ago while working on a Master’s Degree. I have now completed this and am ready to take on a new challenge.

Being the father of a non-verbal son, I know the importance of communication and ensuring needs are met by everyone. I want to promote this level of understanding around the needs of all children, especially those who do not have the same voice. For the past 22 years, I have worked within the higher education industry, initially within the resource management area, travelling the world consulting on software installations. More recently, I have been involved with Student Record management, ensuring computer systems are up, running and working as the customer requires. This broad range of skills and knowledge helps look at problems and challenges in different ways. I hope I can bring some of this to the role of parent governor.
